The best garden party

February is a month full of big events; The Grammys happened just a few days ago and The Oscars gala will take place on February 26th. With all of this going on I just really feel like celebrating my own event, and besides spring starts in just around a month, so why not planning a celebration of the arrival of the new season?

There’s something about garden parties, the feeling of gathering your friends around a table and enjoying a nice day outside. If you want to welcome spring properly, celebrating a big event with your loved ones, have a look at the following tips for planning a special garden party.

Who’s invited?

Make a list with all the guests and make sure you prepare some nice invitation cards for your party. I would suggest making your own ones, people really appreciate something that is personal and unique, and you want your party to be remembered!

The location

Study the available space, think of how you’re going to arrange the decoration. You’ll need a table that can seat all your guests and some nice lighting in case the party lasts until late!

Consider buying some new flowers and check the state of your lawn, if it has been damaged during winter you can opt for an artificial option. There is much more than the traditional green lawn, so why not trying some artificial grass colours on your garden?

A table for..?

The table is probably one of the key elements of your party. Consider how your guests are going to be seated around it, you want them to be able to interact with each other.

Take some time for thinking of decorative items you can use on your table, there are so many alternatives and most of them can be really cheap. If you feel you need some help, have a look at this garden parties bundle and get inspired!

Dinner time!

If there’s quite a lot of people attending the party, the best food option might be preparing some tapas and nibbles. I especially like this selection of yummy and easy recipes!

Now that’s a tune!

Why don’t you create a collaborative playlist on Spotify and ask your guests to add their choices before attending the party? Believe me, this will save you a headache!
